With over 18,000 apple trees on 35 acres, there are numerous varieties of apples here to be picked. The apple picking season began in late August and will run through the fall. This is not a one stop place, there are a bunch of things to do here: eat ice cream, shop in the farmer’s market, and chat with one of the many helpful employees about making apple treats. Plan on making a day of it!

Enjoy this old, historic apple orchard and all of the great scenery that Hopewell Furnace possesses. For $1/pound, you can pick your own apples daily throughout the season. Stop by the office to get a basket and a pole to aid in picking!

Known for their “Best of Philly” Apple Cider Donuts, this orchard boasts over 200 acres of crops full of fresh produce. Locally grown produce sold in their farmer’s market as well. Shuttles are available on the weekends to all of the pick-your-own apples.
