“Dear Linda, my favorite cousin, Richard, is in the process of re-doing his kitchen. He has most aspects down but is having a terrible time with paint colors. He needs a color for the cabinets and another for the walls.
He is leaning towards white cabinets but the color he picked out looks too creamy/yellow with the marble tile. He is also interested in doing red accents like his kitchen aid mixer so I was thinking he should stick to whites, blacks and grays.
Do you have ANY quick suggestions of paint colors? Keep in mind the avocado stove is not a factor when choosing a design….lol.”
Thanks!

Dear Beth,
Thanks for sending in your question. I would love to help you! I like to use cool
neutrals to contrast accents such as red, orange and yellow. I recommend using Benjamin Moore Aura paint in the following areas: Elephant Tusk (OC-8) on the walls, Cloud White (OC-130) for the trim and Copley Gray (HC-104) for both upper and lower cabinets. Painting the stove a bright red, such as Tricycle Red (2000-20)would add a crisp accent and be focal point and fantastic pop of color!Good luck and send me photos of his progress!
